There are plenty of Italian restaurants out there that put a drawing of an Italian guy with a mustache on their sign, name it something like “Marios”, and speak in a predictably bad Italian accent by adding an “a” to everything they say, like “Thatsa spicya meata balla.”
At Verdoni’s, the only thing we’re guilty of is being authentic. We named the restaurant after our great grandmother, a woman whose legendary Sunday meals fed her children, grandkids, great grandkids, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends alike. The culinary values our great grandmother instilled in us all those Sundays are the same ones you’ll find at Verdoni’s today: The best ingredients, homemade pastas, sauces and breads, an authentic wood burning pizza oven imported from Italy, and most importantly, an atmosphere that continually blurs the line between friends and family.
